Berenty Private Reserve, Madagascar



Berenty is the best-known wildlife destination in Madagascar. Comfortable accomodations, easy accessibility, broad trails, and friendly wildlife make Berenty a magnent for most visitors to the country.

Ringtail lemurs rule Berenty. They are everywhere and quite habituated (almost to the point of being tame). Visitors will also see collared brown lemurs and Verreaux's sifaka. Nearly 100 species of birds are found in the area.
